World of Grief.

This series was not planned. I made the first one depicting a club of half naked doing drugs and drinking for fun. I think it’s funny to draw people like that and I wanted to experiment with the line work. After making it I was fond of the style so I came up with a concept for a little satirical sequence.

You start in the club where people are feeding their vices and killing themselves to have fun. Next the funeral, where an eccentric bunch are crashing the sermon. Finally we land in hell, where the devil is exhausted from the quantity of new arrivals.

Not the most important explanation you’ve ever seen, but these pieces are some of my favorite.
